WaveDyn has been validated with data from multiple types of wave energy converters, either floating and bottom standing, with single and multiple body structures, and with point-absorber, attenuator (head-on) and terminator (beam-on) orientations. It has also benefited from extensive verification and validation exercises conducted under the £8m PerAWaT project (Performance Assessment of Wave and Tidal Array Systems), supported by the ETI.
