Health and safety management

GL Garrad Hassan is a key framework provider of consultancy services to the Health and Safety Executive in the UK, providing guidance on both legislative and technical support. GL Garrad Hassan have also generated safety management systems on behalf of a number of leading industry companies including E.ON and Vattenfall, as well as for a number of German offshore wind farm projects.  GL Garrad Hassan specialise in facilitating and running hazard and risk assessments on a wide variety of subject topics.

For the offshore wind farm industry specifically GL Garrad Hassan has undertaken the CDM Coordinator role on the Lynn and Inner Dowsing offshore wind farm, the Barrow offshore wind farm and, more recently, on the Thanet offshore wind farm. 

GL Garrad Hassan was also commissioned by the BWEA to develop a Health and Safety incident database, which was designed to provide vital safety information and statistics back for use by the industry.
