GL Garrad Hassan’s Bladed wind turbine simulation package has become the de facto industry standard for wind turbine modelling and load calculation. The package includes the Bladed Hardware Test module which runs the turbine simulation in real time and provides a powerful user interface for connecting PLCs, pitch system interface units and PC IO hardware, as hardware in the loop simulation system.

Experts at GL Garrad Hassan provide testing services, using Bladed Hardware Test module, to support clients who wish to conduct control system software proving, control system integrated functional testing and performance evaluation of wind turbine components including pitch systems, power converters and complete transmission systems.
